James is a Security Risk Management Certified Professional (SRMCP) with a wealth of practical expertise in Protective Security, threat analysis and risk mitigation.  After spending the best part of twenty years as an officer in the British Army, he left the military in late 2014 and subsequently worked in Defence Industry, Local Government and a large multinational consultancy.
